Woorise is a social media giveaway tool.
But it goes even further with lead generation features.
That said, how can it help your giveaways and other lead generation efforts?
That’s the question I’ll answer in this Woorise review.
I’ll dive into Woorise’s key features, pros and cons, how to use it, and pricing.
Let’s begin.
Woorise review
Summary
Woorise is a robust giveaway and lead generation tool with extensive features. The main issue that can be a deal breaker is a cap on the number of giveaway entries.
Who is Woorise for?
Woorise is a lead generation tool.
While you can call it a giveaway tool, it has other tools to engage your audience and generate leads.
These are tools like forms, polls, quizzes, surveys, and other types of landing pages.
So, Woorise is a great tool for marketers and solopreneurs who want to engage their audience and generate leads.
Overall, Woorise is one of the best social media giveaway tools you can use today.
But if you want to see a similar but more advanced tool, check out Shortstack.
Otherwise, let’s jump into the Woorise review proper.
Woorise key features
Woorise sites
A Woorise site is a workspace that lets you organize your campaigns.
So, if you run giveaway campaigns for many brands or multiple branches of the same brand, Woorise sites let you keep campaigns for each brand in one place.
But beyond that, you can add users to each site and set roles to allow smooth collaboration.
Woorise also lets you set time zone, select a currency, and add site icon for each site.
Another feature I like here is the language settings. You can pick from over 100 languages and even specify a language for each campaign.
This is useful if you run campaigns for international brands that need to reach non-English audiences.
In all, Woorise site is most useful if you need to collaborate with others or organize campaigns.
Campaign builder
The Woorise campaign builder uses a WordPress interface and provides tools to tweak campaigns to your satisfaction.
To build campaigns, you have the option to start with a template or create from scratch.
So, you can add, remove, and set up elements according to your needs.
With over 50 blocks, there are enough page elements for various uses. For example, you can embed blocks like YouTube, WordPress, Amazon Kindle, Sound Cloud, etc.
But how easy is it to use the Woorise campaign builder?
It has a steep learning curve for beginners.
But once you get the hang of it, it’s easy to use. And if you already use WordPress, you should be able to find your way around the builder.
The Woorise campaign builder lets you edit templates or build campaigns from scratch.
Campaign templates
If we have to build every campaign from scratch, we’ll waste hours, and many campaigns will be eyesores.
With templates, you can create beautiful campaigns in minutes rather than sweating for hours.
And Woorise has a lot of them. You’ll find over 70 templates across various marketing categories.
Some of these categories include:
- Giveaway
- Form
- Lead page
- Survey
- Quiz
- Poll
- Link in bio
You can preview the desktop and mobile view of each template before using them.
Once you find a good template, you only have a little work to do before publishing the page.
Woorise templates have a good variety. So, you’ll find templates for many use cases.
Giveaways
Woorise lets you run giveaways on social media and other platforms.
You can use the chance of winning a relevant gift to engage your audience and achieve other goals.
I’d like to highlight some types of giveaways you’ll find on Woorise and how they can help your business:
- Social media giveaway: This involves actions on social media like visiting social media profiles and sharing giveaway on social media. This helps improve engagement and the number of followers.
- Photo vote contest: For this contest, participants will upload their images to a gallery. Then, other people will vote to determine the winner. This can easily build brand awareness as participants will promote the contest to get votes. It’s also a great way to collect user-generated content (UGC) for your brand.
- Leave a review: People like to read reviews before buying products (just like you’re reading this one). And some review sites meet this need. As a business, you can encourage customers to leave a review on review sites for a chance to win a gift. This is good social proof and an effective type of UGC.
- Refer a friend: Generally, people rave about products they love. However, you can encourage customers even more if a reward is attached to referring their friends to buy your products.
- Instant win: With this giveaway, participants know immediately if they’ve won or not. This works if you have no time to manage participants. But even for participants who lose out, you can offer a freebie like a discount to collect their details.
- Media upload: For this contest, you can ask the audience to upload a file. This can be an image or video of them performing a task. This is another good way to collect UGC.
- Multiple actions: This giveaway includes combining requirements like viewing a post on Instagram, watching a YouTube video, and reading a book on Goodreads. This opens up creative choices for giveaway entry requirements.
These are the various options you get on Woorise when planning to run a giveaway.
Lead pages
The lead pages on Woorise help you generate leads. You can find templates like:
- Ebook download
- Coupon unlock
- App download
- Content gate
- Coming soon
These pages let you collect people’s information in exchange for a reward.
Apart from lead pages, you can also engage your audience with interactive features like quizzes, surveys, and polls.
A quiz I find really useful here is the product recommendation quiz. This can help you recommend suitable products to buyers based on their answers to questions.
These pages deliver many use cases you can employ from time to time.
Forms
Woorise forms let you collect and provide information.
Some forms you can create on Woorise include:
- Email signup
- Contact form
- Job application form
- Website cost estimation
- Online event registration form
These forms have many use cases for various business activities.
One that I find interesting is the website cost estimation. Website designers can specify services and features that come with each service.
But this can be adapted for any business that offers services.
Overall, Woorise has created these forms to solve practical problems for users.
Giveaway management
Once you publish and promote your contest, you expect participants to troop in.
But how do you manage those participants?
Woorise offers features that help with giveaway management.
To access these features, click the form icon beside a campaign and then click Entries on the next page.
First, you’ll see every entry for the giveaway. Beyond that, you can see a breakdown of their score based on entry requirements.
Here, you can take actions like add star, trash, spam, and download files for each participant. The Download files feature lets you collect UGC if participants have uploaded files for your contest.
You can also get more details about each participant’s activities by clicking View in their entry options.
Then, you can export and import entries.
In terms of picking winners, there’s a random winner picker you can access at the top right corner of the page.
By specifying the options, it can select a random winner from participants.
In essence, Woorise provides the features you need to manage giveaway campaigns.
Bio Link
If you create content on Instagram and TikTok, you know there’s only one link followers can click: the link in bio.
This ties your hands if you want to drive traffic from these platforms to important web pages.
But with a link in bio tool, you can build a mini landing page for social media platforms.
On this page, you can host links to your business’s most important pages.
Woorise has a bio link tool you can use on Instagram and TikTok.
With the bio link tool, you can add links to important pages and social media profiles.
The only issue I have with the bio link in Woorise is that you can’t mirror your Instagram grid. So, you can’t link individual Instagram posts to web pages.
But overall, this tool is useful if you want to drive more traffic from Instagram and TikTok.
Woorise Integrations
After collecting leads, you need to process them.
But beyond that, there are other marketing tasks associated with giveaways and lead generation.
This is where Woorise integrations come in. Woorise provides over 30 integrations.
You can access integrations like Facebook Pixel, HubSpot, Mailchimp, PayPal, Stripe, Slack, etc.
The integrations are in categories like:
- Storage
- Email marketing
- Payments
- CRM
- Communications
Apart from integrations in these categories, you also get Zapier integration to connect with other tools.
These integrations extend Woorise’s capabilities and let you transfer information easily.
Woorise reporting
Woorise provides metrics about your contest participants. And you can find reports for each campaign by clicking on the graph icon beside it.
On the reporting page, you’ll find metrics like:
- The number of users
- The number of entries
- Conversion rate
- Location
- Device
- Channels and sources
These metrics will provide more details about your campaign performance.
But beyond that, you can also see analytics for interactive elements like quizzes, surveys, and polls.
Here’s an example for a quiz:
Woorise reporting provides the information to judge the effectiveness of your lead generation campaigns.
How to create giveaways and landing pages with Woorise
Woorise lets you manage many lead generation tools in one place.
Here, I’ll walk you through how to use the most important tools in Woorise.
How to create a giveaway with Woorise
To create a giveaway, click Campaigns at the top left corner of your dashboard. On the Campaigns page, click the Add New Campaign button to start.
On the next page, you’ll see templates for various use cases.
You have 2 options here. You can either use one of the templates or start from scratch.
Scroll down the page or click Giveaway to see all the giveaway templates. You can choose from over 15 templates.
These templates let you run social media giveaways on many platforms.
Before using a template, you can hover over it and click Preview to see how it will look on PC and smartphones.
Here, I selected the social media giveaway template. It not only has entry requirements across multiple social media platforms, but it also lets me collect leads.
To use a template, click Use this template at the top right corner of the preview.
When you land in the editor, you may get shocked at first because you see something like this:
You only see a Form block and the timer.
However, the entry requirements are embedded in the form. So, click Edit Form to add or remove entry requirements.
You’ll see the entry requirements, and you can click on each to edit details like URL and the number of bonus entries for each requirement.
Apart from that, you can add more fields like poll, survey, product, website visit, etc.
You can also add conditional logic to blocks on your giveaway page. For example, you can set your giveaway to display a quiz if the participant visits your page on Instagram.
Once you’re done with the setup, save the form and preview it to ensure it looks as intended.
Now, let’s jump back into the campaign editor.
In the editor, you have access to more blocks. Click the + button at the top left corner to access the blocks you can add to your page.
If you use WordPress, this will look familiar to you.
Of course, you can rearrange elements on the page to your taste.
Another feature I’d like to highlight here is Viral share.
If you want your giveaway to go viral, you can reward participants who share the giveaway with bonus entries. This will encourage participants to share and can easily bring in a lot of participants.
After setting up your giveaway with the relevant requirements, click the view icon at the top right corner to preview the page.
If the page looks good, click the Publish button at the top right corner to publish your giveaway page.
Here’s how my giveaway looks:
Woorise also provides a few options to share your giveaway. You can share it on social media or embed on a web page.
To do this, go to your campaign page and click the form icon beside your campaign. On the next page, click Share, and you’ll see the sharing options.
An alternative to embedding code in a page is to use the Woorise WordPress plugin.
Once you download and activate the plugin, you can add the Woorise block to any website page. Then, you can enter the campaign URL to embed it on the page.
One thing I observed with Woorise is that it has a steep learning curve for a beginner, especially if you have no experience with WordPress.
But once you get the hang of it and use a template, it becomes easy to set up.
How to create a lead page with Woorise
To create a lead page, start a new campaign. Navigate to the templates and select one of them.
Once you do that, you’ll see the desktop and mobile view. Then, move on to the editor, where you can edit the template to suit your needs.
Once you’re done with the design, publish your lead gen page. You can embed this on your site as a landing page.
Apart from the lead pages, you can also create surveys, quizzes, and polls following similar steps.
These templates are useful if you want to run Instagram quizzes and polls. But even better, Woorise lets you run these campaigns across multiple social media platforms.
How to create a link in bio page with Woorise
To create a link in bio page, start a new campaign.
On the next page, you can either start from scratch or use one of the link in bio templates.
In this case, I’ve selected one of the templates. This takes me to the editor, where I can add more elements to the page.
There are a few things you can do here.
First, you can swap the cover image. Then, you can edit the text on the page.
Beyond that, you can add buttons and embed other elements into the page.
For example, you can embed a YouTube video or other elements that tell more about your business. Woorise even allows you to add a form to collect leads.
After editing the template, here’s what I came up with:
So, you can pick any of the templates and tweak it to your needs.
